Xavier de Pedro is a researcher on the usage of Wiki technology and methodology on Educational Scenarios. He has also been actively supporting localization of free software projects such as Tikiwiki CMS/Groupware, Claroline, eWiki, PhpDig, OpenSocks, DaDaBik, Gimp DBP Plugin, and the GREC Applications to manage Researchers Curricula (Resumes) and other research data (http://gclub.ub.es/grec - https://webgrec.ub.edu ). Moreover, he coded the internationalization of OpenSocks software.

He is Doctor by University of Barcelona, and teaches several subjects related to Ecology, Health and Environment or Educational Technologies at several teaching sites in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain), in either Catalan, Spanish or English.
