!NOTE from AD: Need a better title for this section. Something about removing constraints. Our CLWE system breaks out of the constrained mold imposed by traditional processes, and allows contributors to follow an open ended workflow that is more consistent with modern collaborative environments. A key point in enabling such a workflow, is to keep track of the original edits and translation operations, in such a way that complete history of the collaborative effort can be obtained. The system can then use this data to show contributors what translation work needs to be done, no matter how convoluted the sequence and path of edits and translations operations. In this section, we describe this tracking mechanism and how it used to support such and open workflow. Section __???.1__ establishes notations which will be used to explain the tracking mechanism, Section __???.2__ describes the actual functionality through a detailed storyboard, and Section __???.3__ explains some if the implementation details and their impact on the whole solution (including certain limitations that imposes).
