• A project (hosted by the wiki-translation site you are curently visiting) that aims at adding features to wiki engines in order to support that sort of thing.

GNUnited Nations

• GNUnited Nations (abbreviated GNUN) is a collection of makefiles and scripts that are supposed to make the life of http://gnu.org translators easier. Although it is specifically developed for the GNU Project's website, it could be customized, at least in theory, to fit the needs of other internationalized sites.

TraduWiki

• A site where people can collaboratively translate public documents (e.g., a guide for influenza prevention).

World Wide Lexicon

• Open source collaborative translation tools that can be embedded in any web publishing or web services platform to enable users to view, create and edit translations.

• Open-Tran.eu offers an easy access to the translations of open source projects. It acts as a kind of a central Memory Translation database where you can look up a translation suggestion or submit a whole .po file to the server. This project intends to provide a tool for editing .po files using the suggestions from open-tran.eu.

Localization tools

BetaWiki

• A collaborative framework for localising MediaWiki, over 250 extensions, FreeCol, and open source strategy game, Mantis, an open source bug tracker, and more. The commmunity consists of over 800 translators that are able to work on over 140 localisations. Betawiki is used as a convenient translation medium, as well as for coordination and maintenance to localisations. All supported products can also be exported to the gettext format for offline translation, spell checking, etc. It includes experimental support for wiki page translation.

TWiki Localisation
