You receive this message because you are either planning to attend the BabelWiki08 Workshop "Cross-Language Collaboration" (http://wiki-translation.com/BabelWiki08, held in Porto on Monday September 8th, 2008, during the Wikisym 2008), or potentially interested in it.

(1) We inform you that we have just set up Creative Commons "Attribution - No derivatives" Copyright License (cc-by-nd) on the footer of wiki-translation site, for those documents which do not have a copyright license elsewhere noted. Thus, we legally allow others to download and copy, if they wish, your position papers, etc, provided they cite you as authors, etc.

We would suggest you to resubmit your position paper with another copyright license, if you prefer another one. If you don't resubmit, visitors will understand that you allow them get a copy of your document under this license:

(2) We also encourage you to register on http://wiki-translation.com site. You can start tracking changes to the pages on the wiki site through the menu option on the right "Last changes".

(3) You can monitor by e-mail main changes related just to BabelWiki 08 workshop through clinking, as registered users, on the "eye icon" or "BabelWiki08 > Public" category:

(4) The wiki site for the workshop will use a free software "Cross Lingual Wiki Engine" (CLWE), and we encourage people to do some collaborative translation work on the site if you can and want to test it. More information on CLWE is provided on one of the full papers accepted to the Wikisym08 and BabelWiki08 workshop.
