Xavier de Pedro


Xavier de Pedro is a researcher on the usage of Wiki technology and methodology on Educational Scenarios, and one of the Editorial Board Members for Tikiwiki CMS/Groupware documentation project, coordinating efforts of 800+ people in tenths of languages. He has also been actively supporting localization of free software projects such as Tikiwiki CMS/Groupware, Claroline, eWiki, PhpDig, OpenSocks, DaDaBik, Gimp DBP Plugin, and the GREC Applications to manage Researchers Curricula (Resumes) and other research data (http://gclub.ub.es/grec - https://webgrec.ub.edu ). Moreover, he coded the internationalization of OpenSocks software.

He is Doctor by University of Barcelona, and teaches several subjects related to Ecology, Health and Environment or Educational Technologies at several teaching sites in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain), in either Catalan, Spanish or English.
